Good morning viewers of the security community.

I have envisaged a plan for the creation of an Indications & Warning System on the web.

What I seek is the rich exchange intelligence in the fields of terrorism , insurgency and asymmetrical warfare in general--between practicing professionals and of both the Private and Government security sectors.There will be a common platform on the web where everyone will express their views , their perspectives on the prevalent TTPs as per doctrine as well as current developments outside the existing doctrines.I want a global Indications & Warning setup based on the web portal--the I&W inputs coming from the members-- that is to say each and every member will reflect on the current prevailing situations in his own way , keep a tab on the ''changes'' in these situations if any , and make both an educated guess as well as analytical judgement of the ''changes'' induced situation , go backwards from the changes to discern the indicators and then finally zero in on the ''warning'' element which he will then apprise the portal authority.His ''warning'' element will then be placed parallel(not conflictingly) with other warning elements submitted by other members and relating to say one part of the globe under unrest , and the optimum decision taken after carefully evaluating all the ''warning'' elements against the critical backdrop of the knowledge , skills and abilities(KSAs) of the contributing members and hence assigning due weight-age to their assessments.Thus a general Warning of calculated severity can be issued by the Portal.

The rich exchange of intelligence and information will foster further research and attract more talents.There can be a services and products sub-portals where we can critically examine and recommend , say CBRNE and other security services/products.
We must,absolutely must focus on the importance of HUMINT/CI.
